TFP primarily operates within the Automotive and Aerospace markets whilst also providing cutting edge solutions in the Defence, Energy, Consumer Electronics, Industrial, Construction and Healthcare markets. Our customers are leaders in their chosen fields.

Whilst the portfolio readily provides immediate solutions, many products are developed specifically to meet the unique needs of customers for both high and low volume requirements.
We have an exciting vacancy for a Materials Specialist in our Technology Team to provide technical support to colleagues and customers throughout the business. The jobholder will be required to work closely with both customers and suppliers to progress new product developments from inception to commercialization. You will work across a number of market sectors developing nonwoven solutions for various applications including composite.
The jobholder will cover a wide range of activities including completing and directing laboratory-based feasibility work, running trials on production machines, supporting and directing collaborative R&D projects along with some process improvements responsibilities. Well-developed project management skills will be essential to ensure business priorities can be met.
The candidate will ideally have extensive industrial composites experience and a good technical understanding of this area. Candidates should relish a varied role within a team of interdisciplinary industrial scientists and will hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science or Engineering subject. You will also have a minimum of five years’ experience working in industry.
