To provide a complete administrative service for the Group in support of health, safety, environment and energy management.
We currently have a vacancy for a full time Health, Safety and Environment Administrator.
You will provide systems and administrative support to our Health, Safety and Environment team as well as getting involved in the practical aspects of providing these services to operational teams across the organisation, through the active promotion of policies, procedures; imparting knowledge and information in support of a positive and proactive safety culture.
You will assist the team in ensuring that the business is legally compliant with relevant statutory Health, Safety and Environment provision and where deficiencies are identified, will bring them to the attention of the responsible persons for action.
You will be confident, approachable and able to drive initiatives to realise results. You will be passionate about Health, Safety and the Environment and have a desire to work towards a NEBOSH qualification.
You will be a flexible individual educated to GCSE C grade standard or equivalent. The successful candidate will need excellent organisational, communication and computer skills.
This is a full time role and will work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.45pm. You may be required to work additional hours for the effective performance of your job, either upon your own initiative or at the reasonable request of your Manager. Overtime is not payable, it being deemed to be covered by your salary.
