We have an excellent development opportunity available for a Credit Control Coordinator in the Paper division. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining credit control systems in line with risk management parameters, working collaboratively with customers, the commercial team, planning, operations and senior management you will proactively monitor accounts, and drive actions to secure terms and bring in cash.
You will be a confident self-starter who is able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, whilst engaging strongly in team and inter-dependent activities that drive the success of the credit control function. You must be able to communicate clearly and assertively and build strong trusting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
This role is anticipated to be a development role, for the right person to have the opportunity to work towards a Credit Management role. It is important that the successful candidate has the capability, and the desire, to grow with the Group and be positioned for this future leadership role.
To develop into this role you will need to show the drive and ability to lead the credit control function, pan businesses, promoting capability, leading on challenging scenarios, developing working capital targets, training Credit Coordinators, managing cover, developing procedures, be solution focused and take the lead on system improvement projects.
You will have had at least 3 years past experience in Credit Control, ideally within a manufacturing business, dealing with a large volume of customer accounts across a range of terms and contractual arrangements. You must be system literate, have reasonable excel skills, be influential and have a diligent and thorough approach to work.
The role is full time 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, however we would require you to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
